Moist and unstable conditions will continue

Saturday, November 14th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting cloudy skies with some showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms over most areas, weather feature november 14thbut especially among the coast and over the South. The threat of localized flooding still exists for low-lying areas of the country.

Winds will be blowing from the East-Northeast at 10-20 knots, becoming gusty near heavy showers and thunderstorms and the sea state will be moderate, becoming locally rough at times. Operators of small crafts are advised to exercise caution.

High temperatures today are expected around 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 86 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 77 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected tonight at 11:24 and a low tide this afternoon at 4:47.

The Sun will set at 5:17 this evening.

The extended forecast into Monday morning calls for mostly cloudy skies with some showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly inland and North Sunday afternoon and over the coast and South Sunday night and Monday morning.
