Bus passenger found with over a pound of weed

By Chrisbert Garcia: While conducting a vehicular checkpoint at mile 69 on the George Price highway yesterday afternoon, police searched a passenger bus traveling towards San Ignacio, in which a large amount of cannabis was found.

Officers opened a black school bag that was in the possession of 22-year-old Ryan Alfaro and found inside it, 650 grams (1.4 pounds) of cannabis.

Alfaro was arrested for the offense of “drug trafficking”.
