Sunday, July 5th, 2015. BMG: A young couple was socializing on Friday night in Belize City when they came under attack from gunfire. On Saturday, July 4, 21 year old David Steven Reveres of La Croix Boulevard died in hospital, while his 16 year old girlfriend, Shannalyn Augustine of Alvarez Street, sustained injuries from which she is recovering.
According to police, the pair told them that they were in front of a residence on Roches Street around 9:50 when they were approached by the single armed man who opened fire.
Reveres was hit to the left side of the pelvis, left buttock, left thigh and left calf while Augustine took fire to the left breast and left side of her back.
Roches died early in the morning of July 4, around 1:18. Police are investigating.
