By Aaron Humes: Ladyville Police have made 19 arrests in the case of the home invasion of Lebanese Honorary Consul Sarkis Abou Nehra which occurred at his Burrell Boom Home on the night of December 3rd, 2015. News update

Despite their big success, police had not recoverered any of the six firearms that were stolen by the group of 8 men who perpetrated the heinous crime which involved a rape.

Almost three months later, police are closing this last hole in the case. While they have just forwarded the information to the media, on Sunday January 7th, they recovered one of the stolen firearms but still missing are the 5 others.

Senior Superintendent Edward Broaster, officer commanding Rural Eastern Division says the discovery was made at 2:45p.m. on Ordonez Avenue in Belize City but the gun had to be labeled as found property as no one was found in the area. The recovered firearm is a 9 millimeter browning pistol.
