radar feature february2By BMG Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly sunny skies during the day and partly cloudy skies tonight. Little or no rainfall is expected.

Winds will be blowing from the East-Southeast at 10-20 knots with occasional higher gusts and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect.

High temperatures today are expected around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected this evening at 4:39 and a low tide tomorrow morning at 12:35.

The sun will set at 5:48 this evening.

The extended forecast into Thursday morning calls for continuing mainly fair and dry weather Wednesday afternoon and night, then the chance of isolated showers Thursday morning.
