By BMG Staff: Cool and relatively dry conditions will continue today, then some moisture will return over our area.
The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mainly fair and cool weather with little or no rainfall today, then some cloudy spells with a few showers or periods of light rain will occur mostly over Northern and some coastal areas tonight.
Winds will be blowing from the North at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy to moderate.
High temperatures today are expected around 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 80 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 70 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this afternoon at 12:12 and a low tide this evening at 6:15.
The sun will set at 5:53 this evening.
The extended forecast into Friday night is for mostly cloudy skies with a few showers or periods of light rain mainly over Southern and coastal areas.
