By BBN Staff: A northeasterly airflow over the area will support relatively moist conditions today.
The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly cloudy skies today with some periods of light rain mainly along the coast and in the South. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight with light rain over the South and only isolated showers elsewhere.
Winds will be blowing from the North-Northeast at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate.
High temperatures today are expected around 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 65 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this afternoon at 12:53 and a low tide this evening at 7:16.
The sun will set at 5:53 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for generally isolated showers on Saturday, then showers and rain will increase mainly in the South on Saturday night.
