By BBN Staff: Belizean and Japanese officials gathered yesterday to initiate a grant of US $102,029 that is being handed over to Belize’s Cotton Industry from the Japanese Government’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security projects.
Benefiting cotton farmers with the potential to strengthen the relationship between both countries, the Embassy of Japan, in a press release, wished the project success and said that Belize produces some of the best cotton in the world.
The project is represented by Kensuke Inoue in Belize.
