By Aaron Humes: Police say they found .02 grams of alleged cocaine on the person of 25 year old Bradley Roe, son and heir to the Roe Group of Companies in January.
But whatever substance was in fact found, the forensics laboratory in Ladyville has confirmed it was not cocaine, nor was it heroin, or any illegal substance at all.
As a result, the court prosecutor was forced to drop the charge this morning before Magistrate Carlon Mendoza, leaving Roe free.
Roe was represented by attorney Liesje Barrow-Chung. He had been arraigned on January 4 after a constable made the alleged drug bust at the Ramada Princess Hotel and Casino, where he recovered the alleged cocaine, concealed in a small transparent plastic bag in his left front trouser pocket.
