Friday, July 10, 2015. Victor Castillo Reporting: Benque Viejo Town police this afternoon picked up and detained Ervin Wade on suspicion of murder.
He is being accused of the stabbing to death of 25 year old Kenisha Buller, a well-known and well-liked Customs officer based in Benque Viejo.
Officer Commanding Benque Viejo Superintendent Daniel Arzu told reporter Victor Castillo, that officers responded to the residence of Buller and Wade on George Street around 3:00 in the afternoon and observed Buller lying in a pool of blood, her body showing stab wounds to the neck and chest area.
Buller was rushed to the San Ignacio Town Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
From the police’s initial investigations, it appears that Buller and Wade were engaged in a heated argument which allegedly led to the stabbing.
Wade was apprehended near Central Farm afterward by police.
The community, we are told, was rocked by the news.
Police investigations continue at this hour.
