The Hands and Heart Mission will be arriving on April 17. Medical Chief of Staff at the Corozal Community Hospital, Dr. Jorge Sajia says the team of 35 will be teaming up with medical staff at the Corozal Community and Northern Regional Hospitals to start screenings immediately upon their arrival.

Dr. Sajia says that patients over 40 need to undergo an evaluation as well as those suffering from chronic diabetes or high blood pressure. Those patients are asked to go for pre-screenings on Sunday. Patients are asked to take their relevant medical history documents to the screenings.

All screenings and surgeries will be conducted at the Corozal Community hospital. Interested persons can contact the hospital for further details.
