By BBN Staff: A slight increase in moisture is expected over some areas today then a return to mostly dry conditions.
The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers will occur mostly over the South today, decreasing tonight.
Winds will be blowing from the East at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.
High temperatures today are expected around 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 81 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected tonight at 9:41 and a low tide this afternoon at 3:31.
The sun will set at 6:10 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night is for mainly fair weather to prevail with little or no rainfall.
