By Aaron Humes: A Belize City butcher is being accused of burglarizing a meat shop in the city. This morning, 20 year old Fernando Guerra, a Butcher of Cemetery Road was arraigned before Magistrate Carlon Mendoza for a single charge of burglary.
Guerra is accused of entering as a trespasser Seleny’s Meat Shop located on Mahogany Street, Belize City and stole 4 large knives, a Lasko fan, a chrome meat grinder and a hammer, all to a total value of $2,000, property of Shana Humes.
Guerra pleaded not guilty to the charge and was offered bail in the sum of $2,000 plus one surety which he was able to meet by 12 noon. Fernando Guerra is due back in Court #5 on June 27, 2016.
