By BBN Staff: More than 30 teachers received certificates in a ceremony held at 3:00 this afternoon, after they successfully completed a training organized by the Ministry of Education, conducted through its District Education Center in Belmopan.
Those teachers, all from Kuxlin Ha Government Primary School in Belmopan City, received 10 weeks of training in Early Childhood Education, enabling them to significantly contribute in making a positive educational impact in nurturing the development of children.
This Early Childhood Education training project was an initiative undertaken by the Belize Social Investment Fund to empower and contribute to strengthening the education system in Belize and was funded by the Government of Belize as a Sub-Project under the Basic Needs Trust Fund Program 7.
At the training’s end, a total of 57 persons received knowledge and skills to ensure that students and pre-schoolers develop as healthy holistic children, socially, culturally, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically and intellectually.
