By Aaron Humes: Supporters of a woman who claims she was let go by area representative Beverly Castillo briefly congregated outside her constituency office in Ladyville this morning.
It is alleged that at Sunday’s convention to elect a first deputy leader, 2 members of the Rural Central delegation supported Patrick Faber over Castillo’s preference, John Saldivar.
For that reason, the aggrieved woman was allegedly released from her job with Castillo.
The group did not have a permit to protest and were reduced to picketing a short distance away before dispersing.
Castillo has declined comment.
