By Aaron Humes: Lennox “DJ Tambran” Young, owner of the popular Music Depot on North Front Street and also a vehicle dealer, was injured in a traffic accident this morning while returning to Belize from Houston, Texas.
Young’s hand was hurt but he avoided serious injury as did one of his companions, Amin August; however, a third man who was with them, identified as fellow vehicle dealer Sostenes Tamay, unfortunately died.
DJ Tambran’s brother, Leroy Young explained that it happened about 8:00 am Belize time and a Ford F-150 truck apparently ran into Young’s vehicle, causing severe damage.
Leroy Young also expressed his condolences to the Tamay family of Corozal on the loss of their loved one.
Lennox Young is expected back in Belize by Thursday. He has been working as a dealer for between 10 and 12 years.
