Moist and unstable conditions continue over our area

radar june 8By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting partly cloudy skies this afternoon along with a few showers or thunderstorms mostly inland. Skies will be cloudy tonight and tomorrow morning with some showers, thunderstorms or light rain mainly over the South and coast.

Winds will be blowing from the Southeast at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be at a light chop.

High temperatures today are expected around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 81 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected tomorrow morning at 1:28 and a low tide tonight at 7:12.

The sun will set at 6:26 this evening.

The extended forecast into Friday morning is for partly cloudy skies with a few showers or thunderstorms mainly inland Thursday afternoon, then mostly over the South Thursday night and Friday morning.
