Warm and relatively dry conditions prevail

radar June 14By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly sunny skies during the daytime and partly cloudy skies tonight. Only isolated showers are expected.

Winds will be blowing from the East at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop – choppy.

High temperatures today are expected around 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 81 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected this evening at 6:09 and a low tide tomorrow morning at 12:13.

The sun will set at 6:28 this evening.

The extended forecast into Thursday morning is for continuing generally fair weather on Wednesday afternoon and most of Wednesday night. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected mainly along Southern and coastal areas on Thursday morning.
