CEO Martinez resigns to pursue political ambitions in Toledo East; interim CEO appointed

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: In a significant development within the political landscape, Chief Executive Officer Osmond Martinez has tendered his resignation from the Ministry of Economic Development.

CEO Martinez confirmed to BBN that he has resigned from the Ministry.

Martinez’s departure comes as he focuses his efforts on the campaign in Toledo East, where he seeks the position of standard bearer in the upcoming PUP convention scheduled for Sunday, June 9.

Carlos Pol has since been appointed as the interim CEO.

The upcoming PUP Standard Bearer convention in Toledo East, slated for June 9, will witness a heated competition among contenders Nicanor Requena, Melhem Espat, and Dr. Osmond Martinez, vying to succeed the late Mike “Iron Mike” Espat.

The winner of the convention will proceed to a by-election to secure the position of Area Representative for Toledo East.
