By Breaking Belize News Staff: Earlier today, the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) posted to their FB page, a Hurricane watch post.
That message went viral and was re posted via several other pages.
However, shortly after NEMO issued a statement apologizing for the post and said that, “we are not on a hurricane watch and did not mean to cause panic.”
“We continue our series of daily educational messages on what the public should do in the event of a hurricane as we want everyone to be prepared,” NEMO noted.
NEMO continues to post Disaster Preparedness messages.
