Candidates gear up for convention in Corozal North

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Candidates are gearing up for the PUP convention in Corozal North.

The candidates David Castillo, Ivan Valencia and Dr. Einstein Bodden are on the campaign trail visiting and meeting with residents in that constituency.

Today, Castillo confirmed via social media that his application for standard bearer was accepted.

“It’s official! Come July 14, vote for our candidate, the People’s Candidate! David Jesus Castillo! For the love of the people!”

Castillo will contest the convention against Valencia and Dr. Bodden.

Valencia has since expressed gratitude to all supporters for their support and confidence.

“This is The People’s Movement. Let’s build together a Corozal North for everyone,” Valencia expressed.

Dr. Bodden has served in the public and private setting.

“Plan Belize has been actively transforming this nation before our very eyes, and we need to ensure it reaches us. We deserve to feel the love on our side,” Dr. Bodden added.

The convention is set for Sunday, July 14 at the Mary Hill Catholic Primary School.
