Caesar Ridge take lead with 3-1 win over Napoles in National Amateur Interdistrict Championship Round of 16

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize City’s Caesar Ridge got off to a good start winning the first of two matches against Belmopan’s Napoles 3-1 in the National Amateur Interdistrict Championship (NAIC) Round of 16 at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex in Belize City on Thursday, July 11.

Robert Leslie, Kleron Cacho Sr., and Shemar Gillett converted one each for Caesar Ridge. who will now head to Belmopan for Sunday’s return match with a two-goal advantage.

The return leg is scheduled for 6:00 pm at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan.

The match was originally postponed twice due to rain before being able to play it on Thursday night.
