Women’s National Amateur Interdistrict Championship: Las Flores host Red Bank Scarlet Girls in semifinals Saturday in Belmopan

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: In the second semifinal of the Women’s National Amateur Interdistrict Championship (WNAIC), third-place Las Flores FC will host the second-place Red Bank Scarlet Girls at 6:00 PM at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan.

“Belmopan we need your support tonight! Come out and enjoy with your family,” Las Flores FC said in a social media post on Saturday.

“Make sure to come out and support us as we play for a place in the finals.”

Red Bank secured their spot in the semifinals with a strong performance throughout the season, finishing second in the standings with nine points from three victories and one loss. They will be looking to their key players to maintain their momentum and secure a place in the final.

Las Flores FC, on the other hand, finished third with four points from one win, one draw, and two losses. Despite their lower ranking, they’ll be aiming to upset the higher-ranked Red Bank team.

The Women’s National Amateur Interdistrict Championship (WNAIC) semifinals are part of an ongoing effort by the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) to promote women’s football in Belize and provide a platform for talented players to showcase their skills.
