By Horace Palacio: The Santander Sugar Group is expanding its operations and seeking a qualified Sugar Cane Planting Supervisor to join its team. This position is essential in ensuring efficient mechanized planting processes at their facility.

Key Requirements:

  • Applicants should hold an Agricultural Engineering Degree or be a certified Technician.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the sugar cane industry, focusing on mechanized planting (using TT planters), is required.
  • Ideal candidates will also have hands-on experience in soil preparation, irrigation, and weed control.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proactive and responsive attitude are crucial.
