By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, police arrested and charged Simeon Herrera, 57, with 1 count of Manslaughter by Negligence, Causing Death by Careless Conduct, Failure to give way when changing direction, Driving a Motor Vehicle Without Due Care and Attention, Driving a Motor Vehicle Without A Valid Drivers License and Driving a Motor Vehicle Not Covered by Third-party Risk Insurance.
Herrera was driving his green pickup truck that swerved into a motorcycle being driven by Keenan Wragg.
Wragg and his sister Tamisha Jeal were going to return the cycle that they had borrowed from a friend.
Jeal was flung from the cycle and died shortly after.
Wragg remains hospitalized.
