Contract presented for rehabilitation of Thomas Vincent Ramos (Southern Highway) between Dangriga and Hopkins

By Aaron Humes: As of July 2024, Teichroeb and Sons Limited construction firm is working on the 16.2-kilometer section of the Thomas Vincent Ramos (Southern Highway) between the junction with the Stann Creek Valley Road at Mile 6 and the junction entrance to Hopkins Village.

According to Minister of Infrastructure Development and Housing Julius Espat, this is the first of a three-phase rehabilitation of the Highway, the second phase of which will run to Placencia and the third from Independence Village to Punta Gorda Town.
