By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belmopan City Council invites you to a memorable evening of celebration at the Flag Raising Ceremony, marking Belize’s 43rd Independence Day on Saturday, Independence Day Eve. The event will feature a spectacular 21-Gun Salute by the BDF Volunteer Battalion Support Company, Belmopan, followed by a breathtaking fireworks display.

This special evening will be a time for the community to come together and celebrate national pride. The Belmopan City Council encourages attendees to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, and iceboxes to enjoy the festivities comfortably. Parking will not be allowed on the field.
A variety of delicious food and refreshing drinks will be available for purchase, ensuring a delightful experience for all. The fireworks display promises to light up the sky with a dazzling array of colors, creating a memorable spectacle.
