By BBN Staff: The general situation for today is for a slight increase in moisture as a weak tropical wave crosses the country. The 24-hour forecast is for some cloudy spells with a few showers and thunder storms over most areas, then mostly over the south later tonight.
Winds blow east 10 to 20 knots becoming gusty near showers and thunderstorms.
The sea state will be choppy, becoming locally rough at times. Operators of small crafts are advised to exercise caution while on sea.
The outlook for Wednesday is for mainly fair weather with showers or thunderstorms generally isolated, then some cloudy spells with a few showers or thunderstorms mostly over the south on Wednesday night.
High temperatures are expected to be 87º Fahrenheit along the coast, 92º Fahrenheit inland and 80º Fahrenheit in the hills.
Low temperatures for tonight will be 78º Fahrenheit along the coast, 73º Fahrenheit inland and 68º Fahrenheit in the hills.
A low tide is expected at 10:42 this morning and a high tide at 3:47 p.m. later today. Another low tide is expected at 10:32 tonight and another high tide at 4:21 Wednesday morning.
The sun will set at 6:31 tonight and the moon will rise at 12:31 p.m.
The sun will rise on Wednesday at 5:26 a.m. and the moon will set at 12:29 a.m.
