Monday, July 20th, 2015. BMG: The 2nd Annual BDF Volunteer Camp training commence
d today in Rural areas of the Orange Walk District.
Approximately 80 men and women will undergo intense training to equip the recruits on handling several scenarios including reconnaissance, traffic check points and how to handle unruly crowds and public disruptions including riots.
Accompanying the battalion throughout the tour was newly appointed Junior Minister of State in the Ministry of National Security, Frank Papa Mena. Mena commented that he is extremely impressed at the level of security our armed forces provide to the country.
A tour ensued where simulation exercises were held in San Lazaro Villages, Trinidad and August Pine Ridge Villages.
