By Aaron Humes: The Belize Training and Employment Centre (BTEC), a unit of BELTRAIDE, in collaboration with RESTORE Belize and the Department of Youth services, today held a certificate ceremony for a recent training program for 18 graduates.
The objective of the five week training was to provide introductory Job Preparedness Trainings to at risk high school students in order to build their capacity and help them to develop the self-awareness and interpersonal “soft skills” needed to be successful.
The training targets youth who have recently graduated from high school and those entering the last year of high school.
