By BBN Staff: The Orange Walk branch of the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) has been fully activated as Belize keeps watch of the oncoming storm.
As of 10 this morning, all 52 shelters in the Orange Walk district have been opened, 11 of which are located within Orange Walk Town.
NEMO Orange Walk is keeping a close watch on vulnerable areas in the Orange Walk District and informs the public that if anyone needs assistance to move, or information to call 302-3228, 615-9622 or 605- 5046.
BBN will keep the public abreast of the emergency plan in Orange Walk as the storm approaches.
