By Aaron Humes: This coming Friday, August 12 sees the official release of the results for all examinations offered by the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), on the island of Anguilla beginning at 10:30 a.m. local time.
Evans McNiel Rogers, minister with responsibility for education in Anguilla, will deliver the feature address at the event.
Glenroy Cumberbatch, registrar of CXC, will present the results of all the examinations offered by CXC in the May/June 2016 sitting. These include regional results for Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE), Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC), Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) and the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA).
Stephen Savoury, director operations for examinations services, will report on the administration of examinations issues.
Following the presentation of the results, there will be a question and answer segment for members of the audience to ask CXC and ministry of education officials questions and seek clarification about the examinations results.
Individual students’ results will be issued in due course and in Belize’s case the national awards ceremony will take place in November, followed by the regional award ceremony in December.
