By BBN Staff: If you are wondering why your regular Digicell phones are currently out of service – in particular the Orange Walk and Corozal Districts, well the reason is that Belize Telemedia Limited is currently experiencing a, “major outage to its Mobile and DSL broadband services.
Initial reports are that this is due to a “major fiber cable cut by mistake, occasioned by utility infrastructure work north of Sandhill not related to any BTL activity.”
According to a post Digicell shared on its Facebook page, a team of experts are currently en route to repair.
