By BBN Staff: Three men dressed in dark clothing and wearing long sleeved shirts barged into the Belize Western Energy Limited (BEWL) located along the Philip Goldson Highway on the outskirts of Trial Farm Village at 10:00 Monday morning.
Police say the men wielded machetes and knives and assaulted two employees taking their cellular phones and personal cash. They also robbed the establishment of a little over $5,000 cash that was collected from the weekend sales.
The men escaped with the loot and no one was physically harmed. Police have no suspects so far and are investigating.
