By BBN Staff: La Inmaculada Auditorium in Orange Walk Town was filled to capacity by members of the Belize National Teachers Union (BNTU) from that municipality.
According to President of the Orange Walk BNTU branch, Otilio Muñoz a resounding “No” was heard from teachers to the deferral proposal request by the Prime Minister Dean Barrow.
Muñoz added that teachers want their 3 percent salary adjustment retroactive from April of this year.
