By BBN Staff: Wanted Sex offender, George Stephen Cunningham from Delaware, Ohio is today facing possible expulsion from Belize after Belize Police made a back ground check on him and found that there is a warrant for his arrest in the U.S. 
But how is it that Cunningham ended up in police custody? Cunningham was reportedly arrested on Friday night in Belize City after his boat ran aground off the City’s coast. The Coast Guard rescued him and took him into custody after they determined his identity and background.
Up to publication of this article, no information has been released on how, and when, Cunningham arrived in Belize, or if any infractions were committed here.
He was convicted in Delaware for “Gross Sexual Imposition of a victim under thirteen years” and convicted on September 15, 2015.
