On Monday at about 10:15 p.m, 19-year-old John Orozco was shot in Belize City.
According to police reports, Orozco was pushing his bicycle on New Road contrary to the flow of traffic and upon reaching in front of #84 New Road Supermarket, he suddenly heard loud bangs coming from the direction of Victoria Street.
A short while after, he felt a burning sensation to his left forearm and realized that he had been shot. He was admitted to ward in a stable condition.
Police are investigating.
