By BBN Staff: Police in Orange Walk are investigating the murder of a young woman that happened in Orange Walk last night.
According to reports, police visited the corner of Rio Bravo and Boundary Road in Orange Walk Town where inside the living room of a cement house occupied by Luis Briceno Sr, his 22-year-old daughter Jahida Dionica Crawford of the same address was seen lying face down with a gunshot wounds to the back and face.
Police investigation reveals that around 7:00 p.m. someone had called for Crawford and when she came out to the verandah of her house, someone fired several shots in her direction.
She was pronounced death at the scene. Police are investigating.
