By BBN Staff: Assistant Commissioner of Police Chester Williams posted on social media that the police are not hindering the teachers from exercising their rights.
He says that the police officers posted at the different locations including those at Patridge street are there to ensure the safety of the teachers as a number of teachers will be going there to support the union.
“So we placed officers there to ensure that those who may be against their agenda do not go there to try and harm them in any way,” Williams said.
