Monday, July 27, 2015. BMG: A traffic accident in San Roman Village, Corozal District over the weekend is responsible for the death of a teenager and the injuries sustained by another. 
19 year old San Victor Village resident, Juan Gutierrez, was flung from the Ford Ranger Pickup he was driving, when he lost control and it overturned shortly before 11:00 p.m on Saturday night, July 25th.
Riding along with Gutierrez was a 16 year old male, also a resident of San Victor Village, who received minor injuries but Gutierrez wasn’t as fortunate, as he died almost immediately.
Both Gutierrez and the 16 year old male were taken by police to the Corozal Community Hospital where Gutierrez was pronounced dead on arrival just before midnight and the 16 year old was treated then released.
Police continues to investigate.
