By BBN Staff: A Belize city resident has been detained for setting the Deputy Prime Minister, Patrick Faber’s vehicle on fire.
Reports are that the man has been positively identified based on the images from the surveillance video. However, Ladyville police are still gathering details for the investigation.
The suspect has allegedly confessed to police that someone set him up to do it.
Police now expect to levy charges against him on Monday.
The surveillance footage at the DPM’s home shows a lone person with a gallon dousing an SUV in Faber’s driveway and setting the vehicle on fire.
