By BBN Staff: Reports reaching our newsroom are that a well known Chinese business woman was robbed at gun point this morning while on her way to the bank in San Ignacio town.
The incident occurred behind Scotia Bank while she was walking to the bank.
A source told BBN that a total amount of $50,000 was stolen – $40,000 in cash and $10,000 in cheques.
Police are investigating.
