By BBN Staff: South Side police have taken another gun off the streets in Belize City.
Last night a police mobile was in the Pitta Street area behind Gwen Liz High School when they saw a man with what appeared to be a hand gun.
They set chase after him and during the chase, the man threw the gun on top of the roof of a house.
Police later retrieved the gun, a .9mm pistol with 6 live rounds.
The person is in custody pending charges.
