Wednesday, July 29th, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: Eastern Division (South) police are seeking Honduran Ulises Mayorga to assist them in the investigation into the killing of 21 year old Merlin 
Elizabeth Herrera Mejia, his former common-law wife.
Mejia’s body was discovered this morning around 6:50 at her Morning Glory Street residence with cut wounds to the neck and behind the left ear.
Inspector of Police Alejandro Cowo, O.C. of Eastern Division (South) Crime Investigation Branch, told reporters during a briefing this morning that police are as yet unclear about what happened and need Mayorga’s assistance.
Police countrywide are on the lookout but Inspector Cowo believes that Mayorga has not yet left Belize City.
The couple are said to have a child together but separated some time ago. Police investigations continue.
