By BBN Staff: There has been almost 3 fires reported for this month and two children have died in both.
However, there were no fatalities yesterday when police responded to a fire at #7 Hunter’s Lane in Belize City.
Police reports that a father and his son were home alone when his son set his mattress on fire with matches.
Fortunately, fire officials were able to control the fire.
The total value of damages was $2,710.00.
Police are investigating.
