Wednesday, July 29th, 2015. BMG: Generally fair weather continues to prevail over the country and only a slight increase in moisture will occur tonight.
The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly sunny skies with a few cloudy spells, isolated showers or thunderstorms today.
Tonight, skies will be cloudy with showers and thunderstorms increasing over the South, then the rest of the country.
Winds will be blowing from the East at 10 to 20 knots and the sea state will be moderate.
High temperatures today are expected around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 81 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected tonight at 9:22 pm and a low tide this afternoon at 3:08 pm.
The Sun will set at 6:27 pm this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for showers and thunderstorms to decrease.
