By BBN Staff: In an interview with BBN this morning, the Chief Education Officer in the Ministry of Education, Dr. Carol Babb, announced that teachers will be allowed to make up time for the days missed during their industrial action.
However, for the eleven days missed, teachers are only requested to work six extra days because the Ministry recognizes that teachers always offer students extra classes free of charge.
According to Babb, the Ministry met with school managers yesterday and it was decided that the extra days will be made during the Easter Break and Christmas Holiday.
The meeting was amicable and successful Babb said.
