By BBN Staff: Senior staff members within the Ministry of Defense are currently engaged in a two-day retreat and workshop that focuses on a budgetary exercise in preparation for the upcoming fiscal year 2017-2018.
The workshop is being held at the Belize Coastguard Headquarters located just outside of Belize City on the George Price Highway, and is being attended by Minister of Defense, John Saldivar; Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the Ministry of Defense, Felix Enriquez; Belize Defense Force (BDF) Commander, Brigadier General David Jones; and Belize Coast Guard Commander, Admiral John Borland.
The budgetary exercise started yesterday and will conclude today.
