By BBN Staff: Gaspar Vega is about to face more “political heat” despite his resignation from Cabinet in October.
The Opposition People’s United Party held a meeting of its northern caucus today in Ranchito, Corozal.
At the meeting it was voted that the party should attempt to recall Vega in the Orange Walk North constituency thus triggering a by-election if successful.
In the event the recall is successful the PUP will move ahead to endorse Ramon “Monchi” Cervantes as its candidate in that division.
