By BBN Staff: On Monday, we reported that Hugo Noh a villager from Guinea Grass was badly beaten by a police officer.
The two men got into an altercation after Noh appeared to be intoxicated while driving his vehicle and the officer who was socializing at Zhen Zhen store (and also intoxicated) in Guinea Grass tried to take away Noh’s car keys.
The officer inflicted severe wounds on Noh’s body who was later taken to the Northern Regional Hospital.
Noh’s sister told BBN that the family has sought the advice of Attorney Richard “Dickie” Bradley.
BBN was also informed that Noh will also make a report to the disciplinary tribunal of the police department and a formal complaint to the ombudsman office.
Officer Commanding the Orange Walk formation, Supt. Selvin Tillett told the media that although no charged have been levied on the accused officer, police investigations were expected to conclude yesterday.
